The role of workplace IDVAs as part of a domestic abuse response.
Join us for this free Insight Hour webinar on Tuesday 1 October from 1-2pm with Hestia on how employers can incorporate Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs) in their workplace response to domestic abuse. IDVAs are accredited advocates for victim-survivors of domestic abuse. They provide practical and emotional support, help keep victim-survivors safe, and liaise with other agencies on their behalf.
Hestia will be joined by consultancy firm EY to share insights on providing an IDVA service for their employees.
Hestia will also speak more broadly about how employers can be innovative in their domestic abuse responses to provide their employees with the most robust support. This includes insights from their "Employers Respond to Abuse Adviceline" service, and their learnings from the Everyone's Business Awards, which are awarded each year to employers that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to tackling domestic abuse.
