Join us on Tuesday 14 January 2025 from 1-2 pm for our Insight Hour on domestic abuse and employers' legal obligations.
The Statutory Guidance to the 2021 Domestic Abuse Act states that employers should consider the impact of domestic abuse on their employees as part of their duty of care. What does this mean in practice? Furthermore, the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act) 2010) Act 2023 introduces a new legal duty on employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment of their employees. The draft Employment Rights Bill proposed by the Government contains further obligations for employers.
In this Insight Hour, we will discuss the key pieces of legislation that employers must be aware of to uphold their duties towards their employees in relation to abuse and harassment. We will discuss best practice, the potential pitfalls to avoid, and answer your questions.
Our Insight Hours are free webinars that anyone in your organisation is welcome to attend.
