• Join us on 11 June for a free lunchtime webinar from 13.00-14.00 about domestic abuse and intersectionality.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to a domestic abuse case, different people might have very different needs depending on their experience, characteristics, and individual circumstances. That is why applying an intersectional lens in your domestic abuse response is so important.

This webinar will be hosted by Meena Kumari, a member of EIDA's Advisory Council and founder of HOPE Training & Consultancy. Meena will facilitate a conversation with representatives of various groups, to illustrate how domestic abuse can impact these groups differently and how employers can implement these perspectives in their responses. We will tackle domestic abuse and disability, race, and the LGBT+ perspective.

The audience will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions. This is an open and welcoming space for everyone with an interest in domestic abuse and intersectionality.
