From 25 November to 10 December, EIDA joins the global UN Women campaign "16 Days of Activism" against gender-based violence. The campaign spotlights violence against women and girls, which affects 1 in 3 women worldwide.

We have created a resource package for employers to use within your organisations at any time of year. This includes:

  • Four posters you can print and display. These come with QR codes to help employees access more resources, including helplines for victims/survivors.
  • We have produced an EIDA podcast with our Ambassador, Sally Benatar, who shares her story of surviving domestic abuse.
  • To get creative conversations started, we have produced two book club suggestions and guidance notes for the books Klaxon and Purple Hibiscus, both of which deal with domestic abuse themes which you might use within employee networks.
